“it’s all about the fit”, in 1997 she created a new line GEORGIE based on the highest quality fabrics, couture quality attention to detail and the perfect fit. Currently the founder and head designer of GEORGIE, Julia Chase brings 25 years experience and a wide creative knowledge of all aspects of design, production, marketing and sales of contemporary woman’s clothing. Her passion for fashion started in London’s Portobello Road and then moved on to the iconic brand Biba. She relocated to the US in the 80’s and launched Studio 10, a trendsetting showroom helping to launch and build brands including Earl Jeans, Jill Stuart Jeans, Cynthia Rowley, YaYa, Cynthia Steffe, Urchin by Mark Eisen.
